Katherine Cannon (born September 6, 1953) is an American actress.

She is best known for playing Donna Martin's (Tori Spelling) stuck-up, racist, and cheating mother, Felice Martin, on the long-running teen series, Beverly Hills, 90210.

Katherine also played the school teacher, Mae Woodward, in the TV series, Father Murphy. This short-lived series was created by Michael Landon and starred several ex-Little House on the Prairie actors. Merlin Olsen played Jonathan Garvey on Little House and the "Father" in this series. Moses Gunn played Joe Kagan on Little House and Moses on this series. Father Murphy also featured Shannen Doherty, who played Jenny Wilder on Little House. Shannen would go on to co-star with Katherine on Beverly Hills, 90210. James Cromwell also was on the program and he played Harve Miller on Little House.

She played "Amy Kane", the part originated by Grace Kelly in "High Noon", in "High Noon Part 2: The Return Of Will Kane" (1980).

Personal life

In 1974, Katherine married Richard Chambers. The couple had one son together before divorcing in 1980.

Katherine married actor Dean Butler in 2002, after five years of dating. Cannon and Butler met when Katherine auditioned for Father Murphy.
